Transportation Information
Southwest Charlotte STEM Academy offers free transportation services through designated hub stops located throughout the Charlotte area. These centralized locations help reduce travel time for families while providing convenient pickup and drop-off options.
Important Transportation Guidelines
- Parents or guardians are required to bring students to the assigned stop and pick them up after school.
- Students will not be released from the bus without a parent or authorized guardian present.
- Transportation seating is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Bus applications must be completed each school year.
- Transportation seats do not automatically carry over from previous years.
- Once capacity is reached, students will be placed on a waitlist.
- A separate transportation application must be submitted for each student.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee a bus seat.
- Families will be notified if their student receives a seat or is placed on the waitlist.
