VCS Tampa students are given the tools to be leaders in a global economy through the “Leader in Me” and “Lighthouse” Programs, we help young people develop the leadership skills to allow them to actively engage with the world.

Our approach is embedded in “how” we think about ourselves and our world, it is not an additional subject. We’ve embedded Steven Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People in “how” we do school. These habits are promoted in every class and global citizenship is embedded through teaching the existing curriculum in a way that highlights aspects such as social justice and the celebration of diversity.

Global citizenship is about the belief that we can all make a difference.
